The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
